Post-Materialist Historiography

During the nineteenth and twentieth centuries historians continually clashed with each other over what makes a good historian. Many of these clashes represent the evolution into a new era, in which people are widening their views of the human being, the world, reality and life. The materialist historiography that has dominated for several centuries increasingly contradicts these widening views, calling forth the need for post-materialist historiography. This guide aims to show history students and teachers that there is another world out there, different from what academia usually presents. Post-Materialist Historiography: An Introduction describes a way to study and describe history that is both scientific and in full harmony with the human soul.
